Before I got here. Wherever 'here' might be. Perhaps finding out that answer will also tell me why and how I have wings on my back when they were not there before. For now, I should probably find my way out of this forest. That would be best. It's cold out here.

Someone beat me to it, but yes, this is Luceti. It seems we are captives to those who wish to experiment on us. The wings are part of that, for some reason I don't understand. They seem to like taking people from our world--Golbez, Edge and Kain are here, too.

Not quite all. Edward, Yang and Cid are thankfully free of this mess, at least so far. And it is frightening, but at least we have each other? I can't wait to see you.

I'm glad they aren't here. But you're right. We do have each other. When I have found my way around this place, I would like to see you. It would be nice to see a familiar face!

You will! If you need help, just let me know. I've been wandering a little so I don't become so easily lost anymore, and I was shown where and how to retrieve our things. Why we can't have them when we first arrive, I don't know, but at least they're here.
