[Hello again, Luceti. Rosa has woken up... in the town proper this time. on the outskirts. Hopefully no one steps on her, that would suck. Once she's sat up, realizing where she is... she sighs. She remembers all too well of this place.

So. Journal in hand? Check. Time to broadcast.]

My return here is not any more comfortable than the last times I was here, and it seems as if the Malnosso have made up their mind now. [Sigh. Rosa goes quiet, stops the broadcast, and is now on the move to retrieve her things.]

[Aw... Kain will forever love Rosa-hugs, even though he's moved on from that crush-thing. ~~Thankfully for everyone's sanity.~~ In fact, despite everything he's been through since last seeing her, he's very happy at the moment by Kain standards.]

[But hugging first. He's missed his other childhood BFF so much. Woe. :(]

[He'll always love Rosa, just not in the way he used to. :D she'll just stay there for a moment kthx.]

How are you? Are you well? You haven't gotten into too much trouble, have you?

[Kain hugs her a moment longer, then moves away so he can write out responses to her.]

I'm well, I promise. I've ~~mostly~~ stayed out of trouble.

[In fact, he seems in a good, happy mood. Yes. Kain. Happy. It's subtle compared to most people but it's there.]

[Rosa knows this subtle change in him. But first she taps the paper where he scribbled out the "mostly" and gives him a bit of a smile.] I would not expect any less, of course. I'm glad you're doing well. You seem... happier, than normal.

I try not to be involved in anything troublesome, but there have been several drafts since you were sent home.

[But. Again. He'll spare the details for the moment. First, to discuss the happy thing.]

Something very good and important has happened to me on a recent draft. The best thing I've ever done.

I know you do not, and that those are... somewhat unavoidable. I trust you have been careful in them though.

Rydia and I have gotten married.

[Awww, Rosa. Kain still likes seeing her so happy. He calmly returns the hug, and there is a vague hint of a smile in his face as he does so.]

This is wonderful news, Kain! [Moar hugs. Yes Kain, you get HUGS LIKE WOAH.] I am very very happy for you both.

[Hugging the Rosa so much. He mouths thanks for that, enjoying her enthusiasm. He's missed this, so much.]

I only wish you could have been there, but... I'm glad to have such good news to tell you on your return this time.

Yes, I'm glad there was good news instead of depressing news. Knowing that those I hold close are happy makes myself happy in turn.

[Or at least, no giving her depressing information if he doesn't have to. Kain is too glad to have Rosa back to want to upset her.]

We married on a ship, on the latest draft. Both of us felt it was the best way to handle it. We've been very happy, although it's only been a matter of weeks we've been married.

[He hesitates. Should he be honest in expressing this sentiment? It's hard to be honest at Rosa still, only because HE'S NOT USED TO IT.]

But I've missed you. We all have.

On a ship? How exciting! Was it at sea already, or was it still at port?

...I know. I think I knew of this place in my dreams every so often. I missed you too. [Part of the reason is because in the not!Luceti world you're on a freaking mountain, Kain.]

We were at sea. Rydia and I... didn't want to delay any longer, so we sought out ...a captain.

[Kain is still unsure how or if it's possible to fully explain Jack Sparrow, in general.]

It feels like a long time since you were last here.

It sounds very exciting! Did you have to swashbuckle your way to marriage? [A light laugh. That would be super exciting though!]

I think it has been some time. I feel like I've been here much longer than I might have been.

[Kain thinks of Jack and some of the... unique things that were said in his ceremony.]

We practically did, yes. It was an exciting way for it to happen.

[He looks wistful a moment, thinking of Rydia and how happy they both were on that day.]
