[Hello again, Luceti. Rosa has woken up... in the town proper this time. on the outskirts. Hopefully no one steps on her, that would suck. Once she's sat up, realizing where she is... she sighs. She remembers all too well of this place.

So. Journal in hand? Check. Time to broadcast.]

My return here is not any more comfortable than the last times I was here, and it seems as if the Malnosso have made up their mind now. [Sigh. Rosa goes quiet, stops the broadcast, and is now on the move to retrieve her things.]

They unleashed a... very unpleasant side of one of our fellow captives. A rather sweet young lady who did not deserve to be turned into what she became.

Wh... who? And what was it?

The girl in question goes by the name of Noel. As for what she turned into... I find it difficult to describe it as anything but a killing machine. I discovered after the fact that it was called "Mu".

How strange. And the Malnosso did this to her? I don't see what they would gain from doing such a thing.

Perhaps they wished to know how we would react to one of our own being turned on us like that. I cannot say for certain, but then, I cannot fathom many of their motives.

At any rate, Mu attempted to slay every resident she encountered. And with her power, she proved adept at it.

Perhaps... it was to see if she would be even more useful in a draft?

A reasonable assumption, given that we appear to be like disposable pawns to them. Certainly she would have accounted for more Third Party members in that form... but she would also have ruined strategies, killed allies, and been utterly impossible to work with, against, or around.

Of course, it's possible they didn't care if she was strong enough. Poor strategy can be made up for with enough power.

True enough. I can only imagine if they will do the same to her if they draft the people here once more?

Possible, but doubtful. She was brought down in the end so I don't think they'd consider it tactically worth the trade off.

One time, however, was enough.

... At any rate, I encountered her in the clinic. She was menacing Rydia and Kain, both of whom had been struck unconscious.

Correct on both counts. I managed to warp them out, but with the damage I took from her in the battle...

[He shrugs, attempting to seem accepting of the situation.] I could have lost much more.

I'm sure I'll be seeing you as your new self. I know we were trying to unmask you before as well. I'm glad you were fine though.

[He winces, which she might notice, but doesn't directly correct her.]

Well... I've learned that perhaps it isn't so bad to let my face be seen. Even if I'm not quite used to it yet.
