[If there's one thing Ceodore is genuinely lousy at, it's lying. Or even fibbing, or lying by omission. He freezes mid-step and stares at his Mother. He really doesn't want to bring up much of what happened, including that alternate life (and having siblings), being switched into his girlfriend's body, Kain and Rydia dying in the draft. Finding himself unable to say otherwise, he looks down, hoping that maybe they can just go back to being happy she's there.]
